Well, I'd say the one thing that stands out is the woman we met as we drove by a gated house at Atlas Peak. She was on her way out had her car in the drive way and took time to chat with us. When we asked her about the neighborhood and said we are thinking of buying property here, she insisted we come down see her house, invited us in, met her husband, gave us glass of wine. That day we went home and said if people are like that are on Atlas Peak, then we are buying there. So we made an offer that day on what has now become the home of Bialla Vineyards. The lovely lady who was so nice to us was none other than Linda Elliott-Smith of Elan Vineyards.
