The Curtis family relocated to the Napa Valley in 1997, and founder Lonen Curtis created an impressive foundation for the winery before being diagnosed with brain cancer in late 2002.

Over the next two years, Lonen and his daughter Brandi Jocelyn Pack worked together managing the winery until his passing in December, 2004. Sharing her father's passion for the business, Brandi is devoted to continuing the legacy in Lonen Curtis' memory, Although not involved in the business, Susan Curtis, widow of Lonen and mother of Brandi, is one of the brands' biggest, and best and most loyal supporters. The purchase of their vineyard estate atop Atlas Peak will bring the Jocelyn Lonen wines to the next level.
