Levendi Winery: A Legacy of Passion Levendi Winery is a family-owned labor of love for the Gianulias family. Celebrating 25 years of crafting exceptional Napa Valley wines, the family and winemaker Alison Green Doran have refined and developed the Levendi brand into a multi-generational legacy of premium winemaking.
Estate & Sourcing Levendi’s home ranch spans 150 acres surrounding the picturesque, family-owned Chardonnay Golf Club, where we cultivate our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Our warmer-climate varietals are grown through dedicated, long-term farming partnerships further "up-valley." By cultivating these deep-rooted relationships, Levendi is able to produce wines from nearly every Napa AVA growing region—including our Atlas Peak Cabernet, sourced from the world-famous Stagecoach Vineyard.
Our Winemaker: Alison Green Doran For more than 50 years, Alison has walked the vineyards that produce the region's finest varietals. Spending the majority of her time in vineyard management, she monitors every aspect of vine growth, carefully limiting vigor to produce the most concentrated and intensely flavored grapes.
Alison honed her craft under the mentorship of the renowned André Tchelistcheff, earned a degree in Fermentation Science from UC Davis, and refined her expertise in the legendary cellars of Alsace, France. We are proud to have had Alison at the helm of our winemaking since our very first vintage in 2001.
The Downtown Napa Tasting Room Located in the heart of the city on First Street, our tasting room is the perfect destination for those looking to indulge in the diverse varietals Levendi has to offer. We provide an elegant, refined setting offering wine flights with exceptional service. For a livelier experience, join us on Friday nights for weekly live music showcasing the best local talent in the Valley.
