NAPA VALLEY, Calif., (April 14, 2026) – Joviah Wines announces its official launch with an inaugural release that reflects a deeply personal journey and a disciplined, site-driven approach to winemaking.

Founded by winemaker and proprietor Victoria Coleman, Joviah was created as a tribute to the mentors who shaped her career and as a continuation of the classic training and hands-on experience that define her work in Napa Valley. The brand is grounded in balance, restraint, and respect for place, with wines produced in limited quantities and with long- term intention.

Coleman holds a degree in viticulture and enology from University of California, Davis and has spent years working across Napa Valley and internationally. Her background reflects a deep understanding of both the technical and intuitive aspects of winemaking, informed by mentors who emphasized structure, longevity, and clarity over trend-driven styles. Her career also includes a historic tenure as the first Black female head winemaker at a Napa Valley winery, an experience that further shaped her perspective and leadership within the industry.

Joviah’s inaugural release includes a wine sourced from Wulff Vineyard, marking a meaningful return to fruit that represents an important chapter in Coleman’s professional history. The vineyard’s consistency and character provided a natural foundation for the brand’s first expression, resulting in a wine that prioritizes balance, freshness, and site expression.

“I wanted the first Joviah wines to speak clearly and honestly,” said Coleman. “They’re shaped by experience, patience, and a belief that quality comes from listening closely to the vineyard and making deliberate choices in the cellar.”

While Joviah is first and foremost a winemaking project, the brand also reflects Coleman’s belief in the importance of mentorship and knowledge-sharing within the wine community. This commitment is expressed through direct, individual engagement rather than formalized programs, mirroring the way Coleman herself was supported throughout her career.

Based in Napa Valley, Joviah is intentionally small, with a focus on producing wines of clarity and integrity. As the brand evolves, it will remain rooted in disciplined winemaking, meaningful relationships, and a long-term view of quality.

Joviah Wines is now available in limited quantities through select channels. For more information, visit www.joviahwines.com.
